Town Hall

On the evening of Tuesday, October 18th a "Town Hall" was held following the day's meeting sessions, from 7 to 9 PM. The event brought together professionals involved in the severe weather enterprise to listen to the thoughts and opinions of a scientifically chosen sample of everyday people who experienced the historic severe weather of April 27, 2011 across the southeast U.S.

The Town Hall was aired live via webcast, hosting over 230 simultaneous viewers, and was archived. View the recording here. The proceedings begin about 10 minutes into the recording.

Results from the town hall meeting on the Alabama tornado outbreak are now available.
