ANNOUNCING exhibit booths, sponsorships and advertising opportunities at the 2008 NWA Annual Meeting in Louisville

You and all members of your organizations are most cordially invited to attend the National Weather Association's 33rd Annual Meeting to be held at the Galt House Hotel and Suites in Louisville, Kentucky from October 11-16, 2008. The meeting plans are shaping up to provide an outstanding forum for all individuals, corporations and agencies interested in operational meteorology and related activities to convene, collaborate and discuss current products, services, concerns and future plans.

Your organization is invited to exhibit products and services at the Annual Meeting. An application form for exhibitors, for donations/sponsorships, and advertising in the preprinted meeting program is below (note that the there is a change this year for the preferred method for submitting advertisements for the meeting program). For those planning to attend as individual participants, a preregistration form is located below. That form has information on hotel rates.

The exhibit room will be in the meeting hotel close to all presentation rooms. The exhibit room schedule will be:

  • Saturday, 11 October: Noon to 10:00 PM setup time (time will also be available on Sunday morning)
  • Sunday, 12 October 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM exhibits open
  • Monday, 13 October: 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM exhibits open
  • Tuesday, 14 October: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM exhibits tear down after 4PM

Exhibitors do not have to be at their booth during the entire exhibit time and they are welcome to setup late and leave early if desired. If your organization representatives want to show the booth to other Louisville area clients/friends, please invite them to arrive at times when most attendees will be in the presentation sessions, that is when the exhibit area would be less crowded.

The preliminary agenda for the 33rd Annual Meeting is posted on the NWA Web site at www.nwas.org in August. If more information or coordination is needed, please call or e-mail.
