Objective: To help educators teach meteorology and related areas of science.
The Science center for Teaching, Outreach, and Research on Meteorology (the STORM Project) at the University of Northern Iowa (Cedar Falls) will sponsor a short course entitled “Studies in Air Quality for Science Educators” on June 20-25, 2010. This intensive, one-week course is designed specifically for middle school and high school science
teachers. Participants will receive a stipend. Expenses, including travel, will be paid by the STORM Project. Out-of-state teachers are encouraged to apply. For more information, see: http://www.uni.edu/storm/saqse/.

Educational GRANTS for K-12 Teachers!
- $750 grants are available annually for teachers in grades K-12 to improve the education of their students in Meteorology
- Applications are due by June 1st of each year.
